Brookfield Special Services and Programs

The Brookfield R-III School District strives to provide a broad range of support services to ensure that all children have access to a quality educational program that meets their unique instructional needs.  In order to accomplish that goal, the Special Services department provides staff, resources and supports through the following programs:

  • Special Education (serving students with disabilities ages 3-21)
  • Title I Reading (Elementary grades K-4)
  • Title I Preschool (4-year-old program)
  • Parents as Teachers (children birth to age 5)
  • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (grades K-12)
  • Health Services/Health Accommodation Plans (grades PreK-12)
  • English Language Learners (grades PreK-12)
  • Programs for Homeless and Migrant Children (grades PreK-12)
